Earth Day: Every Day

by The Green A-Team

And so this is Earth Day! But what have you done? Earth Day may just come and go just like any other. To find out how Earth Day’s political impact has held up in the real world for 38 years, I visited Saint Simon Stock Elementary School in New York City. What’s special about this school is that it doubles as a field lab for leading climatologists to study the benefits a “green roof” installed in 2005. From places like this, it’s clear that Earth Day hasn’t just come and gone for the researchers and kids but resonates every day, building in momentum, learning, and understanding.

Earth Day - What has it done?

by The Green A-Team

In 38 years Earth Day has grown into an international event celebrating our beautiful blue planet and reinforcing our commitment to keeping it healthy.

Its the perfect excuse to pick up a new green habit. So plant a tree this spring, shut your lights when possible and ride your bike to work instead of driving.

A small change can bring about a huge difference!
