With Pope Benedict XVIs recent trip to the United States, Western religeous teachings and their importance in the modern world have been top of mind with our nation’s devout. Known as the “Green Pope”, he takes a bold stand to address the responsibility we have to protect our planet’s resources and inhabitants equally.

Back at home, Vatican City has installed solar panels onto its building making it one of the fewest places to be truly carbon neutral.

    I am absolutely floored! I’m sure I am not the only one who had no idea the Vatican was so environmentally conscience.
