Bailout has been the word of 2008 and is still one widely used in 2009 as more and more companies continue to fail to steady their market. So what makes this 25 billion dollar bailout any different? President Obama had announced his plan for an electric car future for Americans.  Funds have been accumulated by the Energy Department since the Bush Administration to be given to companies that will be able to actualize President Obama’s plans. However no loans have actually been handed out.

Officials have claimed that the reason for this delay is that they want to find the appropriate companies to bestow the loans to. This is prudent planning on their part seeing how hasty bailouts in the past have not made a difference in certain struggling corporations. It seems that financial viability is still the most immediate concern on everyone’s mind despite the cause.
