CBS RADIO NEWS PRESENTS A NEW WEEKLY FEATURE:
THE GREEN AIR MINUTE

There is growing demand from consumers for information on going GREEN and this twice weekly, one minute feature available to CBS Radio News affiliates answers that call. It’s anchor, Rich Awn, tells listeners about the latest in GREEN news including environmental, cultural, and consumer tips on going GREEN.

Host/Creator, Rich Awn is a practicing environmentalist, conservationist, and independent broadcast media professional. Awn demystifies the idea of Green and steers his audience toward the benefit of ecologically sound lifestyles. “There are a few simple things we can do,” says Awn, “understand the situation, understand how we can begin to reverse it, and simply act on it no matter how provocative or different it may seem.”

In addition to its radio debut, Green Air launches its proprietary website, GreenAirRadio.com. Visitors can conveniently browse an assortment of multimedia programming and interactive content relevant to the radio feature and beyond. This on-demand digital hub will serve to cultivate content and connect the broader community. For more information on Green Air, contact Producer/Creator, Scott Newman (scott at revelin.com).

Comprised of an experienced collective of experts and professionals in the world of social and environmental issues, Green Air functions collaboratively to create and implement environmental programming at the brink of global discovery.
