I’ve always wondered when the glory days of publishing prosperity were going to come crashing down into some CEO’s pocket.

Here’s a little preview of things to come.

Good info & something to watch out for.

SAVE OUR NET! Free speech must have the right of way.

“…It’s a battle of citizens who are fed up.”

These lifeless, soulless quasi-human corporate CEOs will be the SECOND group of people up against the wall, after the politicians, when the revolution comes. As for myself, I’ll be there, too. With a gun. When a person or group of people has an opportunity to help MILLIONS of people around the world, and instead rationalizes a way to stuff more money into their already overstuffed pockets at the expense of those millions, those people are EVIL, and what’s more, in the very near future, THEY WILL BE HELD TO ACCOUNT FOR THEIR GREED, AND FOR STULTIFYING THE PROGRESS OF THE HUMAN RACE FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL GAIN. Choose now which side you are on, World, and ACT on that decision, because one day soon (in my lifetime and yours) your life will come to depend on the actions you take and the choices you make. This is about more than net neutrality. Net neutrality is a marker of the state of things, but ultimately this is about humanity being worthy (or unworthy) of survival.

Net neutrality certainly poses one of the greatest threats to the only form of open control distribution communication networks we have and there’s no doubt the squeezing out of user-created content won’t happen without some loud ruckus! I would invite you to have a look at a presentation from a man named Adrien M. Foster of McLean Foster & Co. regarding the emerging forms of wifi, 4G networks, and the challenges this technology poses in the way of who receives the lion’s share of the end capital gain. Mind you, this report came out in 2006!

In the post great republican depression (GRD) era, Americans will live in a “Post Materialist” Meritocracy. We will do no manufacturing - it will be done in Asia. We will do little in education. As you know, China, today, has more English speaking people than their are people in the U.S.A. They have more post grad students with IQ’s of 130+ than the U.S.A. has high school students, dropouts included! The American folk can’t compete, and face a glut of over-educated Asians for hire, for cheap as it is. The fate of the internet, here in North America will depend on the “owners of the wires” only until it is available by satellite dish from Asia. This is coming soon, with vastly superior Asian technologies, due the educational excellence there. Much like our current T.V. systems, the owners of the satellites, will be Asians, not Americans. Hegemonious American notions no longer apply in the new world! We do not control affairs of the world with our votes! We are no longer a “Super Power” that dictates to the world! If Asian satellites transmit porn and our citizens receive it we can do nothing – much like current day short wave radio. Our corporations are self-serving by design, and will struggle for survival on world markets for our time and attention or die! The consumer will get what he will pay for from Asian corporations anyway! Outside of a totally socialist, government supported government provided system, which would be government controlled anyway, we are doomed to recognize the current state of affairs, called the internet, as an anomaly in the progression of the technologies of communication, in a special time and place in history of the world, and an unsustainable one at that! Its greatest vulnerabilities, its potential for profits and control!

This is a very serious subject that is being swept under the corporate carpet. The very idea that the already massivley corrupt, and beligerant companys, can shut down the freedom of speech that we have left, to me is appauling and wrong. We have to stop the slow strangulation of our free will. Its only a matter of time before we will be saying “ah remember what the web used to be like”.If we dont stand our ground now there will be no point doing it in six months, because we all know when the big boys play hardball the little guys get the shitty end of the stick,in very quick sucession.YOU ARE FREE TO DO AS WE TELL YOU. Always remember those words.Because soon you wont even be able to download them without paying through your nose. rip free expression,www.usedtobeours.com.KEEP the NET NEUTRAL!!!
